Hello.

I am a little confused about the sponsorship of H1B working visas for the USA. I have contacted a couple of places about vacancies, who have said that they do not sponsor visas but I am welcome to apply for the positions advertised.

How would this work? If a job was offered, how do you go about getting a visa? Is it indeed possible if the company or institution you are joining does not sponsor you???

I hope you can help me out as its a bit confusing for me!

It does not work.. The employer has to file for the visa
They are being polite...

They would not offer you a job if you are not authorised to work.

So the situation would never arise.
