Hi

Lets see what we can come up with, in the meantime here are a few

A nod's as good as a wink

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth

I'll go to the foot of our stairs

Gordon Bennett

How long is a piece of string ?

six of one and a half a dozen of the other

Bent as a nine bob bit

takes one to know one

not enough room to swing a cat

As much use as a chocolate fireguard
dont come running to me if you break your legs
take your coat off or you wont feel the benefit when you go outside
come here while i smack you (classic that one)

Dee xx

give her a gold star
that needs some brownie points
it's gone west
over the hill
as tough as old boots
gone to hell in a hand basket
a sandwich short of a picnic

When I was little I was helping my mum clean, but the could not get the coffee table mark off

Turn to mum and she said

Put some elbow grease into it, I went missing and when mum found me she asked why I was so long

I replied, I cannot find the elbow grease !
