Hello,
i am from germany and still in the US to prepare my business.
I am here for 4 months, but need a little bit more time before my E2 Visa is ready......
Is it possible to make a short trip to the Bahamas to get a new date on my I94.
I use the B1 for the first time and i need only a few months more, they gave me 6 months at the POI on April 16th.
Thanks for your help
Dennis

Hello Dennis and a very warm :welcome: to our site
If you do not mind being landlocked you can apply for E2 visa and remain in the USA, however from you post it seems you wish to go back to your home country.
There is no telling if they will let you back in after a short spell outside the USA. Only the POE staff will decide, but it is not a good idea to try this imho
You should not be seen as trying to live in the USA on a B visa.
Have you applied for a visa yet, either E or L visa or are you just in negotiations to purchase a business
Please give us some more info so we can give you all our ideas

Hello,
the application is in germany (frankfurt) for my E2 Visa.
I am still waiting for their message, if the information is okay or not.
Thanks
Patrick

Might be an idea just to stay till the stamp date the POE put in your passport, hopefully your E visa interview will not take too much longer
How long has your application been in the system?
