I thought of starting a thread on what you most like about the Turkish enviourment,lt’s landscape and plants growing in the wild are a wealth of beauty.With the abundance of insects darting from one plant to another and the many different species of birds singing,makes it a real joy while out walking in the country.
This time of year in January can be quite pleasant with the mild temperatures and the sun shining,does bring out the wildlife.As long as l don't come face to face with a wild boar.l can then say it has been a most enjoyable day.
Here are some photos of the country walk l have been on this morning while out walking my dog.
This is a photo of an anenome flower in full bloom.These plants back in Britian are quite exspensive to buy,but here they are everywhere growing wild.

This is just one of the many country path in the woods l use.Such a wealth of birds in this part of Akbuk.

l came across this little fellow.Normally it is quite common,only see the red anemone flowers.At last l have come across one that is a different color from the rest of them.

l love surveying the landscape,that has an unusual rock formation.The mystery behind this formation,makes me wonder what happened all those 100's of thousands of years ago.Here are a couple.
