hello folks,
i just came back from atlanta. i flew in yesterday morning on a VWP for a 4 week vacation. i wanted to fly to kansas city and rent a bike there for a cross country.
at the POE the officer asked me the usual stuff and then suddenly he called someone over. i was confused and the other officer made big eyes when i looked at the screen. the took me into another room. then i have been told i am a NOT the person which is in the passport. my fingerprints are matching to someone with another name but the same picture. they then accused me of cariyng a counterfeit passport and that i am 100% involved in a organised crime ring bla bla....i was like: "DUDE! are you on drugs?" then i realized that i was in the usa in 2005 but had a legal name change thru a british deed poll after 2005. i have been detained and spent the night in jail just to send me back to the UK. i mean WTF??? :fit: i told them that i can ask my vather to send the deed poll via fax to them and that everything is legal. did not help at all.
worse, they confiscated my passport, claiming it was a fake. they refused me to call the embassy or an attn. keep telling me i am free to discuss with it at the US embassy in the UK. not to mention the trouble i had when i arrived in london. excuse my language but i am really ****ed....
