Hi Susie,
I don't think you need more than one guess about what I am going to say. It would great if the issue about how the immigration system splits families up and that while the CSPA was well intentioned it has not, in practice, helped many families. The "Aging out" thread speaks for itself, particularly in cases like JakeCastle.
It also makes no sense that when you have an approved immigration petition, it generally bars you from studying in the country you intend to reside it, which can only be beneficial to the American economy from the fees being provided, and from the fact a better job would come out of it. However, I can see how such a visa could be abused and so, even if a student visa is not given automatic "dual intent" status like the H1-B, a special exemption should be made for people like JakeCastle, where they already had an approved immigration petition and would eventually move there in any case.

I do not think the American embassy is deliberately working against us by taking so long to process and in some ways think they trying to protect us from ourselves by looking into cases in depth for scams and if they are marginal
I would like the producers to ask the American embassy, what has been done to decrease the long processing of cases as they said they were amining for an 8 week processing time by last Christmas, in other words up date us to progress
Aslo like to ask the American embassy why we have to return to the uk for the renewals which causes families and the running of our business's to fend for themselves or manager, either way our business suffer so please ask if we can renew whilst in the usa for stamping
