Hi Julie,We are going at some point work permitting !!
We used to go to the Harley weekend in Portugal when we lived over that way.
We met some really nice people from all over the World and all walks of life.
I am sure it will be the same but on a much bigger scale .
Cant wait to go,I have a Harley on my birthday list in a few years time when we are "Free" to enjoy and explore

Let me know we will try and join you kids and hubby are bike mad, I just sold hubbys classic because I was sick of moaning at the kids letting all their friends on it, once we get sorted I might suprise him :)

Hi,We went over to Daytona(bit soggy) but had a brilliant time.
The bikes are beauties there are bikes and people all over.
The atmosphere was brilliant and no trouble whatsoever.
A Great day out.

Never really found the same feeling over here with biker do's as I did in the UK...funny enough a lot of my American biker friends who now live in the UK feel the same...nice to see the bikes...our Harley has been in the garage for 7 years and is yet to see a US road....

We love Harleys, they have a sound all their own don't they. Funny story to tell re bikes: We were at a pub one day (as you do) and a load of people on Goldwings turned up - of course we were really interested (even though they are not Harleys), there were too many to count. Anyway we started looking at them and got talking to a guy who offered me a go on his (bike, that is). Didn't know him from Adam but couldn't say no (could I)? So left Ted (who thought the guy might offer him a ride after me). Anyway, it was amazing - really enjoyed myself, got back to Ted who was patiently waiting, guess what he didn't get offered a ride and has never let me live it down, ha ha!!!

Just come back from the Harley shop off the I 4,there were some lovely bikes ,there was a band playing ,BBQ and a BAR !!!!!
Finished off my perfect day with a great Indian (food).
