Glasgow Rangers

We have a supporters club in town, based at the Fox & Hounds pub in Kissimmee. Broadcasts "most" games live. Check the website for details.
www.orlandorsc.com (http://www.orlandorsc.com)

They also show a lot of Premiership games. Jan the proprietor/landlord is a Yiddo too. I have 3 personal friends who are expat Spurs fans around the Orlando/Kissimmee area. Fifty bucks says you wont make the Champions League!

Cheers,

Bobby

England have NOT A HOPE IN HELL of winning this World Cup. I've laughed and laughed at all the hype surrounding it, through the English media.

I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is too. Although, I'm not a betting man usually, I see this as a sure thing, and will bet anyone who thinks otherwise. As much as you like!

There's one thing that will prevent England from going any further than the quarter finals ....... Sven Goran Erikson.

Crouch??? ...don't make me laugh. He'd be better off at the TD Waterhouse playing for the Orlando Magic! Any referee with sense can see that he doesn't jump for headers. He just holds the opponent down underneath him. He did that for his headed goal and was lucky to get away with it. He's useless on the floor and proved that with his clear one on one with the keeper that nearly hit the corner flag.

If Sven plays Rooney/Owen as the front two, then there may be a bit of hope, ......but he's not that clever. Also, with Lennon's performance there's no way that Gary Neville should ever pull on an England shirt again. Disgraceful if he does. He contributes NOTHING. Furthest he's ever passed the ball is 10 yards, and it's always to Beckham's feet.

I've got loads more criticism for the bunch of over rated primos, but I'll save it for another day!! Perhaps after they struggle against Sweden on Tuesday!!

.......... it's now NEXT Thursday. World Cup fever is at an unbearable pitch around the globe and not one person responds to my offer of a bet, or agrees or disagrees with my comments on England's chances???? ..oh it's all gone quiet over there, ..oh it's all gone quiet over there.

I did say that they would struggle against Sweden, and true to form they still haven't beaten the Swedes. They had a victory staring them right in the face, and blew it.

England - great defending in front of the penalty box and beyond, but throw the ball into the 6 yard box and all pandemonium breaks loose. You can guarantee that Ecuador are going to use those tactics. Hump the ball in and around the box as often as possible and try to win free kicks where they can cross into the box or win corners.

I tip England to progress past Ecuador, and thank their lucky stars that they are not facing Germany and the ominous early exit.

Which of course is going to be blamed on Owen's and Ferdinand's injuries, and not because the daft manager left too many strikers back home twiddling their thumbs.

Sorry Bobby, but I have been busy over the last week having met some new friends, been on the beach, playing with some new kittens, had a few meetings and done a few hours of work. I will be watching the game on Sunday and to get in the spirit of the fans, I'll probably have a few tinnies on hand!!

Not a chance in h*ll of winning the tournament if they play like that.

I tipped them to progress past Ecuador, but I'll be very surprised if they beat Portugal, even with them missing Deco, and possibly Ronaldo?

Lampard needs to put something on target. He's just not hitting through the ball the way he normally does.
I thought the tactics were wrong. If they were going to constantly hit long balls into the final 3rd, they should have put Crouch up front and Rooney to feed off him, and sacrifice Carrick in midfield. It's still the 4-5-1, but Rooney plays at the top of a diamond central midfield in front of Lampard and Gerrard, and slightly behind Crouch (basically in the maestros role!) He can roam anywhere to try to create something.
Instead you see a guy just coming back to fitness chasing 70 yd balls aimlessly in the heat.

They'll need to get something sorted before Saturday or it'll be "Auf Weidersehen Pet"
