Hi everyone I have had a few people asking about doing an evening out. How about sorting an eve for all the hubby and wives going to maybe Universal for the eve. We could all go on a Saturday evening and enjoy the mardi gras. Let me know what you think. I was thinking maybe a Saturday in April???? Open to any suggestions. Look forward to your replies. Take care love Lorraine:p

Hi Lorraine.
Yes, I agree a couples night out would be good, but what about the ones that have lost their loved ones, don't you want them to come along? Thought under the circumstances you would have had more thought before posting this suggestion. I await your reply or any other member.

Hi Pat dont even go there ok ... I have just lost three family members and I am not an incensitive person at all and I really do not like what you have put. I would be happy to go out with anyone and everyone. I have been asked by quite a few couples to go out for an evening. Anyone could come along but I know myself that alot of single people do not like going out in couples. I am up for nights out with girls, men, children, and anyone else that wants to go. Sorry if this sounds abrupt but I thought there really was no need for that sort of answer. Take care kindest regards to you from Lorraine

I think people who have lost a loved one would be understanding if some wish to have a couples night out....

Thanks Kriz..... I cant believe myself how insensitive people can be when putting posts on here. I have just lost my Grandfather my baby sister and my auntie died yesterday..... but hey if someone posted who wants a night out girlies maybe bring your sister along.... I would never put an answer like Pat did. I am not someone who ever posts anything to upset anyone but hey Pat you have defo upset me tonight..................

There is room to have alsorts of get togethers ...singles...couples.. families with young children...or teenagers...people who have lost someone close and wish to spend time with others going through the same thing...pet owners...etc...my husband has no interest in forums of anykind....but he has met some good friends on couples nights out in FL...and so is more understanding of why I spend a lot of time trying if I can to help others....

My thought exactly ... on another thread cant remeber which one there was a suggetion of a girls night out to a comedy club and some one said but cant we bring the hubbies. I think the answer was something like we take them next time. I have made some fantastic friends on here and as said before I am up for days with all the family (or eve) girls nights, bring the dog day, anything, the reason I put this post is alot of couples been asking about doing an eveing out. Also if any one wants to post a girls night or boys night on here I am happy to go to both lol (if I am allowed )....... Hey I dont like upsetting anyone and I really care about people and anyone that knows me wil tell you that. Kriz will you and hubby be down anytime soon so you two can come also ?? Take care Kind regards Lorraine

Hi Lorraine,
I am soo sorry about your Auntie, if you want to talk just pm me or give me a call!!
Perhaps Pat was doing a 'tongue in cheek' thing - knowing her I don't think she meant anything by it - I know you usually don't take offense, after all I give you enough stick don't I, but I know how I feel at the moment and anything and everything p....s me off so know how you feel!!!
Funnily enough Ted and I were talking today about stuff (as you do), both feeling a bit down with his Mum & Dad going home yesterday and we are both feeling we know we need to get together with other people but feeling so fragile (as we do), it is daunting to get together with people you don't know from Adam (I know us girlies know each other, but men are a funny breed, ha ha)!!!
Anyway, we have decided that after we go home for 3 weeks on 21st March we are going to come back here and go for it, so if you guys can wait until we return we can all be like dummies together (at least the men can, ha ha)!!!
It sounds like a good idea anyway.
Love
Anniexx

Hi Dustin,
Ted is a Dive Master and used to help a friend of ours on a Sunday night doing trial dives at our local pool. We are going to Grand Cayman early May so that he can get some diving in as just lately he hasn't been able to do too much diving; we have friends there who are Dive Instructors for Red Sail Sports - so we can't wait.
Susie's idea of you doing pool sessions in rental homes is a good one - Ted (if we are still here) would love to give you a hand I'm sure, will try to think of other opportunities for you also.
Take care
Anniex
