The London/US embassy website is now stating E2 processing at 120 days!...by my wizard calculations this is 17 weeks....an improvement on the 24 weeks they posted last time I checked (okay I know they never seemed to hit 24 weeks)
Could this mean they ARE actually making some progress with catch up?

I think they are making progress...more and more people seem to be being called for interview (not sure of the stats re agreed/declined though), but if Steve & Zoe are a barometre then hopefully good signs!!:)

Now was this time scale before or after the Americans decided to put the clocks forwards earlier than normal???

Hi

Well, I do hope they are and not just pretending they are.

It seems that they are catching up a little - they told me 24 weeks ....that was 23 weeks ago and I got the letter to arrange and interview today!

They are achieving a three to four month window now.

Hmmm,
Typical 1 page says one thing - Another page another thing on the same web site.
All postings seem to imply still around 23 weeks
Hate to be negative but work on the longer timescales then if it comes early WOW what a bonus and you can then panic.

Is there a way we can track cases on this site? shortest and longest it may come in handy in case these may beuseful for the feivr people or anyone else?

Got a request for interview on Monday which is 21 1/2 weeks after submitting on November 1st. Our London VA went to a meeting with visa chief last week and they had made a commitment to clear Nov submission by March so things seem to be moving in the right direction.

Got the usual 'not yet eligible for registered treaty status' e mail requesting the following further info.

Evidence of ongoing and continued residency in the UK .
Evidence of initial source of funds invested.
Evidence funds were paid into escrow account (bank statements, cashiers checks, wire transfers, cancelled checks, escrow ledger, etc. showing funds actually received and deposited by escrow agent)
2006 US Corporate Tax Returns and W-2's/1099's for both apparel company and convenience store.
Evidence of ownership of real estate by real estate company and business by company.

This is all updates and waht they already have, nothing new has been asked for so VA is pretty confident.

Sorry to sound so negative but my daughter sent her E2 visa application to London on Feb 1st 2006. On July 2nd they asked for more information (which they already had) but we resent them what they asked for. She was put at the bottom of the pile and got an interview on April 5th 2007. We asked them before she attended if they required any extra paperwork - no was what they said - but guess what? They wanted last year's accounts........So they were submitted on September 17th with my daughter and grandaughter's passports with the notification that it would be dealt with within 10 - 15 days. It is now 17 days and no sign. I am now at my wits end with the whole thing.
