My sons last day at school

You can't believe how glad I am to see this day....schools been a living nightmare this last 2 year after getting a new headmaster...

He may go back to do a post grad class in car body...but then we'll only have to deal with his shop teacher who is a first class teacher....

Did he graduate, Kriz, do you have the old cap and gown and proud mum thing to get through? Two years since I did that with Matt, he graduates community college late July.

He did..top of his class in shop....for a kid who only went to school for half the year I don't think he did bad....he was just so fed up and bored silly.at school...he does the cap and gown thing next weekend...he is at the prom right now....

Better get your best gear on then, I still have photos of my son, for some reason they made them carry a pink rose!!

My daughter has her scrapbook things ready for the pictures....:)

The kids turned up in a classic car for prom last night....Chris's friend did not get a permit for the chopper to fly in....which would of made a cool picture...

Did the old Graduate thing on Saturday..out of the 15 kids in Chris shop class only 6 finished the course...some had to leave to go the the High school because their grades were to low at 16 to keep their place..there are few places at the school..so no place is wasted..you fall behind and you are out..Tech school is harder because you have to fit in 4 years of school work in only 2 years..that is why I can't rate them enough for Brit kids..
It was raining so lucky enough it was planned for inside anyway..its odd for us to get rain this time of year..
Everything went well..I'm glad its all over..Chris is still thinking of doing a post grade course there..its free so if he does not pick up a good paying job this summer it would be worth doing..
I hope people with kids going into High School have a better time then we did..this was once the best school on Cape..but new staff put a stop to that 2 years ago..my son had problems of his own this last few years..and the school did not help matter one bit..most parents have been very unhappy with the last few years..I'm just glad it was not just us..

It was only a small room..not easy to take pictures..we have some on the cam corder..looks like we'll have to wait till we get the school ones...
