Mughlai Indian Cuisine
By accident I noticed a tiny little sign at 9350 Highway 192,Kissimmee, 34711 that had the above name but also said Indian Take Out. This small family restaurant is right beside the neighboring Mekong restaurant that happens to have a large red sign. Décor is simple but quite tasteful. Subtle Indian music plays in the back ground.
We went tonight to try it out. Not being an Indian aficionado my wife and I took along some visitors from the UK. As I looked over the menu I had no idea what I was looking at but the Brit’s with us said if the menu is any indicator of what was in the kitchen then we hit the lottery.
Let’s just say 90 minutes later I was thrilled by the most exotic and visually stunning meal I have had in years. In fact, the only other place I have eaten that has this good service and style of meal preparation is Jiko at the Animal Kingdom lodge at Disney.
Our meal for four adults including Indian style drinks cost about $ 90 but it was money well spent. Best of all they deliver for free to most of highway 27 , CR 54 and all of Osceola west of I-4. Take out has a minimum $ 20 order required for the free delivery.
Open 7 days per week from lunch onward.
