Hiya Everyone!

Has any one been contacted by the Business Advisory Council? Part of the National Republican Congressional Comittee.

I have, a couple of weeks ago, they explained my name had been chosen and was asked to be honorary chair and voice for small businesses. It was to include name listed in the wallstreet newspaper as a memeber, attending events for my imput and dinner with the P himself on invited events. I had a message from some congressman (guess I should have known who but didnt).
All this for a member fee of $100 (I think it was) and receive a lovely planner with NRCC plastered all over it!

I turned it down, due to not knowing what the heck he was on about and not being a citizen. I have since been told I was mad, as I could have voiced for the E2 plight. they have a web site

Sounds like a scam fundraiser. They'll drop you when they find you don't have a vote (and your check's cleared!)

Just mention that you are not an a USC and have no vote. They treat you like you have the lurgy then. Just after your dollars, like everyone here, why should politicians be any different?

I recieved the same invite a few years back, although at the time it was free. I even told them I did not particularly like Bush - but they still wanted me until they realised that I am not eligible to vote!!Then the phone went dead LOL

Hi no its not a scam!!! what it is you pay into the committee a yearly subscription. The subscription is about 100,000 dollars plus per year,
included in the subscription, you get invited to some REALLY exclusive venue, where you are given the opportunity to have your photo taken with MR GEORGE W BUSH himself!
Then you go and frame the picture and put it somewhere for all to see,
the idea is, if you have an office and potential clients are coming to see you in person at your office. You would place your framed pic of you and George for your clients to see and then your prospective CLIENTS cannot fail to be won over by a picture of you and George, that straight away they want to sign the deal with you! Or do business with you!!
because if you are important enough to have your photo taken at dinner with the President of the United States, then you must be important!! and worth doing business with.

OK so what a load of BULL****. but believe it or not that is HOW some MINDS work. NO offence intended here, but particularly if you are American, it will impress the hell out of you.
So thats what the committee is all about
