Does anyone have any experience with Brian Govoni in Winter Haven, Orlando, he has been recommended to us as a visa/immigration specialist and also as a Realtor and accountant.

Can anyone confirm or otherwise, please send private email if applicable, tony.hogan@virgin.net all comments treated in strictest confidence.

Thanks in advance

I would recommend avoiding anyone who puports to be a jack of all trades and a master of none!
Always separate atty , realtor, and business buyer.

I am not looking for a recommendation, just some honest feedback.

Sadly I cannot recommend the person you mention

What I would suggest is calling the Florida Bar or AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Assn.,)

www.flbar.org

please make sure you use an attorney, as you ask mine is James Lavinve , pm me if you want his number

I cannot speak highly enough of James he has helped me pro bono in my quest to be reunited with my son and other matters,

He also has written books and has a UK law degree as well as a US one

as Peter says use an ATTORNEY not a visa 'specialist'

if you choose to ignore good advice you do so at your peril.

I can also recommend our attorney -if required

Gee, you are a sensitive lot!

I apologize if I have upset some, always willing to listen to good advice, Brian Govoni was recommended to me, just doing some homework.

Hi Tony,

If he was recommeneded to you my a close and trusting friend, who has used the recommended person or comapny, then that should be a good start.
But do your own investigation too.... It is always recommened to use a licensed immigration attorney when considering emigrating.
If Mr. Govoni is a licensed realtor, then by all means use him to buy or rent real estate. If he is a licenesed immigration attorney, then fine. If he just offers immigration advice, then take the advice, but use an attorney for your application (unless you are capable of doing this yourself, and some do).

At the end of the day, always use a licensed proffesional skilled in the practice they are licensed and operate. By all means take a recommendation, but use it only as a starting block.

I think like all these things, its a personal thing, they are either a hero or a load of rubbish, it all depends on the outcome, I do know of quite a few who have had some, lets say problems with him or his associates, that doesnt mean that he cant get you your visa, which after all, is what you want him to do. personally the word barge pole and wouldnt come to mind, but then I only have second hand info on him and I base my decision on that, wrightly or wrongly.

Have sent a private email to you.
Be careful - we had a very bad experience.
