Surprised to see that the eyes of suspicion are being ruled over India's increased use of the L-1, and that the UK had only 5% of the total applications in 2005.

The IT sector is strongly in their view too.

Reading the report I wasn't surprised by anything else. It seemed pretty standard information, and spells out that if you are trying to "pull the wool" or your petition is shaky in any way, then they are more likely to find out. Perhaps not at the first petition, but what's the point of coming over for one year and having your renewal denied because you gave false information??

Hi,

The trouble is the uscis and American Embassy suspect everyone is an immigrant/ terrorists etc., until such times as you prove you are not yet their web site says they welcome visitors, hmm

I guess they have their own manuals to question applicants to try and get some iffy information so they can deny your case.

Although I feel that they (USCIS) have been slightly paranoid since 9/11, I don't think that they deliberately try to refuse visa applications from

........ eligible petitioners.

The are scrutinising anyone in IT or in any professions on the technology alert list. I think that is why we are having such a hard time renewing as my husband is in IT and has worked in several of the industries on that list.
