Can anyone help? We immunised our eldest using the separate jabs for the MMR in the UK. We now reside in Florida and our youngest was born here. We have searched everywhere to try and get her the MMR separately too. I bumped into a lovely lady "Clare" in Publix who was also English and she said she got her toddler done with the separate jabs near the Heart of Florida Hospital just north of Haines City. I took her number and got home and could not find it anywhere. We have been looking/calling for months now, in obviously all the wrong places. It is our decision but it feels like we are banging our heads on a brick wall with this one. Does anyone know of any paediatrician who may be able to help us? We live in the Clermont area, but are happy to travel if need be. Thank You.

Hi and welcome
Have you though of calling Celebration or Florida Hospital to see if they can give you information . If they cannot help try ringing a local school to find out if they can advise you
Maybe send Tina a pm on this site as she is a nurse and may be able to assist

I think that it is a good idea to have it done one at a time.
I had my MMR 4 weeks ago here in UK I am 39 and have to have it to come over on green card. God did I feel ill afterwards

Only just saw this thread. She didn't PM me & looks like she's not been back on the site since. I could have helped. Ah well, maybe she'll check in again sometime.

I asked one of our Docs at work......MMR is not given here until the child is 1 year old. You can get it at your Pediatrician's office. I have an information pack if anyone needs it.
