Well we are in the middle of another blooming election here in Canada courtesy of the coalition "partners!".

Ours will be done and dusted by May 2nd- election was called last week!!

Yeh weve got one coming up to on proportional representation or alternative voting or whatever they call it.

How are you??? Do you still have your US biz and if so, is it going any better??

Yes we do still have the USA business- its been very hard to keep it going -especially when your franchise people keep increasing prices for various things- quite a few other franchises have gone by the wayside. The Rhode Island economy is not good!!!

We are just glad we moved back to Canada when we did- I now have a really good job and hubby has some other work that keeps him occupied when the franchise is quiet. We are managing....not actually living thats for sure.

Yes a lot of franchisees of my old franchise have gone under, there are about half the number now there were when we first bought it. I am sure a lot of people are only just managing, unfortunately. So presume you are waiting until the economy gets stronger so you can sell it, if it ever does that is.

Well its either that or just let it go....

We managed to sell ours fortunately, didnt get megabucks, about 25 percent what we paid for it, but at least got some of our money back. I think we were lucky even at that as I do know a lot who just let theirs go. May be a long wait but obviously you can manage it from Canada so can wait. Being on the same time zone must help.

yes it does-Obama has not created anything good for us to succeed other than new EPA regulations which hamper us.
