So the Eurovision Song Contest is on tonight (8pm British time).
This is our entry as voted by the UK public. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tA9hI4PNcrI.
It's pure cheese, has the most obvious innuendos, is dangerously catchy it's now stuck in my head), and hilarious! What do you think.

I think I read the odds are better for "nil points" than they are for winning. LOL.

Yeah, but did you catch the entry by Switzerland (?) - A band of 'vampires'. Can anyone else say 'bandwagon'? It didn;t get through the semis though, apparently.
Scootch have been all over the British morning TV shos, and amazingly I found out the other day they atually had a previous top 40 hit in the Ninties.... I say hit.....

In the nineties? Wow, haven't they aged well!

might have been late ninties. Either that or they've now resorted to breeding Eurovision Pop Fluffs in a secret lab near Dorchester. Scary.

Is this for real?
If it is and wins maybe expats should have it as a entry signature tune every time we log on, or what about our own version?
Sure someone could write interesting lyrics, how about you Mun?

The UK came second........... from bottom. Not quite nil points, but only thanks to Ireland and Malta giving us points.
All the blocs continue to vote for each other and now we have seen the rise of the Eastern Europeans. They've totally taken over. Serbia won, but you should check out Ukraine's tune. They came second with this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHR491s3iSw. Looks like someone let Timmy Mallet out of the nuthouse!

No, no, I meant second from bottom, The only team to do worse than us were Ireland. The tragedy is the British public voted for skooch as our entry when there were at least much better songs, including one from Justin Hawkins (from The Darkness).
