Hi i went to my interview on the Friday the 13 of April for my E2 (what a date to get!!!!)and i was turned down and was told that i had to fax them more info and they would keep all my passports to save time and so that my family and myself would not have to go to London again and if the info was what they wanted they would issue the visa .I had to fill in a form so that they could take the issuing fee from my credit card and then paid the couriers there fee's. I faxed them the info on the 17Th of April and i am still waiting for a response .Has this happened to any one else.my lawyer said it used to take about a week but this has been nearly a month .I have sent two emails and no response and my lawyer has sent two also.Does any one know what the hell is going on !!!!

Hi,
Was the info straight forward? Could it be that it was not quite what they asked for.
Can you check to see if the issuing fee has been taken from your CC.
Hopefully it is just a delay with lack of personal. I think these people need a
good PR excercise in customer relations, and managing expectation. I mean
after all this is your life, not just some product that needs fixing.
The mind boogles reading about these delays, I work with many overseas workers, and London is there number one target to work, with that said you would think the Embassy would be able to pick "the best of the best"
Perhaps that is the problem, these staff feel that have to dot every I and cross every T or they may get posted to the Iranian Embassy ;-)

maybe it is a bit too early to chase them up I would leave it a couple of weeks then chase up, if you have not have reply or passports back

So sorry you haven't heard anything yet, hard to be patient I know but just give them a little bit more time - they seem to get shirty if they are pushed.
Will keep everything crossed for you, let us know as soon as you are able.

The couple before us at interview last month were left in the same situation after their interview. I will e-mail them to see if they have got E2 yet.

Hi there, sorry to hear the mess you are in with the embassy, although nothing surpries me about them anymore, have you tried contacting your MP,or you could try Peter Lilley,he was brilliant with us when the embassy dragged their heels when we were in limbo so to speak, normaly MP,s can get info that us mere mortals cant, anyway hope this helps will be thinking of you, good luck.

Congratulations. Sometimes when we are at are lowest these opportunities suddenly arise. I am strong believer in fate - although, to be fair, sometimes I do have doubts.
