I don't know if anyone has seen this site www.expatsreunite.com. It doesn't seem as informative as this site, but may be worth a look.

Sue - it might be an idea to try and get a link to this site from their site.

I have taken a look and it would be nice if they gave us a link but not us them as the site just seems to want to sell suff to expats and make tons of money out of us

But a good idea maybe if you could approach them to see if they are willing. I did notice the person's contact details just gives a cell phone number though hmm

I agree and I was suggesting a link from them to our site, but if they insisted on a reciprocal link, then maybe it could be considered in our "entertainment" section.

As for the cell phone as the contact number, that is what I always give out as my contact number. My cell phone is with me 24 hours a day, whereas some days I am not even in the office at all, and I don't want to wait until I am back in the office to answer messages. I like to answer calls immediately, because if many people (me included) do not get a "warm body" at the end of the phone when they make a call, they don't even leave a message, but move on to the next number on their list.
