Hi folkes


Just seen Tom Adams on bay news 9, this has just got to be Charlies Mum's son, did anyone see him?

Something to do with gifted children at top Bartow school

It certainly was our boy. Scruffy little urchin.

Was it on Bay News 9 as we saw it on Fox 13.

It must have been a bit of a thin news day as a film crew turned up at the school and interviewed a few of the kids about being in Summer School.

Both Tom and Melissa are at the International Baccalaureate School at Bartow High. The IB section at the school is supposed to be the second best public school in the state. Entrance is by exam. The programme is rigidly set by the International Baccalaureate School programme and requires Physics to be taken between their freshman and sophomore years.

The good thing is that many of the kids at the school are able to build up a significant amount of college credits before they leave high school. This in theory means that they are able to complete a 4 year college degree in 3 years.... thus saving poor old E2 Mum and Dad a fortune in tuition and board.
It also means that they get looked on favourably by the admissions staff at Florida State and UF.

That said, both Melissa and Tom have to work extremely hard to keep their GPA's up as the teachers are very demanding.
