How long have you been here. If you been here a year or more and have seen a doctor you can get insurance. I would be happy to send you details of domestic carrier that I have just changed to. They explain it all too you and make the plan suit you. The whole lot can be claimed back through you tax they give you a tax code, it is for self-employed.

You can get life Insurance from a US company while on an E-2
My wife (insurance agent) recently did this for a client with little problem

Reecey,
I'm not sure who told you this, but that is crap. Generally, a life company will not write a NEW policy if a move is pending but they will allow you to continue with the premiums, so long as they are paid from a UK bank. I know personally that Standard life, Ex virgin, Aviva (ex Norwich Union) have no problem if a policyholder decides to move and continue with the policy.

Hi Reecy
Have you contacted your bank to see if they can help you?
If anyone finds a good insurance company or agent can they post the details
Always mean't to get life cover but never seem to have the time to get round to sorting
It is just the same with getting a will sorted out, always mean to etc., so if anyone can recommend a lawyer that would be great also

Use a company like Insweb (online broker) to do the work for you.
