mobile/cell Phone providers

I currently use SprintPCS and find them ok as far as service goes. I have the basic video and camera phone but now find myself surfing the web on it which is dire cause of the time it takes to hit the right keys. I'm considering a PDA phone but confess to not knowing much about what they can do and their ease of use and how much the various plans cost depending on what you use the phone for and how long.

Anyone have an opinion out there?

We don't use a moble apart from when on holiday a few times a year..I've never found the need for one..

Cingular. Cant get decent reception on anything else where I live (no mobile phone masts allowed believe it or not) There are parts of 27 particularly around Westridge where I cant get a signal at all, anyone else found that?
