Good news that another snake is behind bars - although disappointed that he only got 61/2yrs when he could have gotten 20yrs. Hopefully the victims will be able to get some restitution.

He got 6 years in prison and stole he stole at least $3,600,000. Given Coles is a smart man, one assumes the money is hidden well or has been spent already. That means he "gained" $604,000 for every year in prison. Not a bad deal, at least for him.

He would not serve that long. Prisons are pretty full.

Eligible for parole after 85 percent of sentence in Florida, less any time already spent in custody. There is also three years supervision when he is released. Anyone know whether he is a citizen, as if he is a green card holder, he will likely be deported upon release as Mick Leggat was.

I thought he could have his citizenship revoked

At least he got a small percentage of what his crime was worth, wonder if he will have to pay restitution or have any assets confiscated

Not sure they could revoke citizenship for theft and fraud. They can for the following reasons

Concealing facts from or lying to immigration officials
Refusing to testify before the US Congress
Joining certain organizations, subversive action and treason
Receiving certain military discharges.
