Hi

I recently heard that an illegal immigrant knocked down and killed a police officer.

Does anyone have a link to the story they could post?

I do hope that he gets his just desserts. It makes me very angry that my son has bben denied a visa yet never overstayed in 17 years, ever got a ticket, or broken any sort of law yet these illegals are blantanlty breaking at least 4 laws

Driving without a license, no insurance, illegal immigrant and not paying taxes

Please do not get me wrong, I really feel sorry for children of illegal immigrants as they have no choice as to where their parents bring them to live or have any choice in the matter.

Some illegals spat in a cops coffee up here...they were on the next plane home...its really hard to get a job on the Cape without papers they just knew the owner of the coffee shop...I saw 4 Mexicans in a field last week...people were stopping because its such an odd thing to see...most just can't afford to live here...work is hard to find because everyone reports everyone...you just take on college kids here or Jamaican's if you want no trouble....maybe the odd Russian...but that is getting rare now...

The link Pete gave is to one police office who died by a hit and run that day - but there was another police office who was killed by an illegal immigrant in a hit and run down the 17-92 near the Osceola-Polk line. Link to story here http://www.oscnewsgazette.com/index.php?option=news&task=viewarticle&sid=13374

Oh no it wasn't............ I did say 'in the second half of the story' and, if you read that far, the Polk county death is reported there too.

The above link to the Osceola News Gazette appears not to work so here is another link direct to the same story.
