I am a green card holder and have been here for 8.5 yrs. I live in Las Vegas and moved here from California so my wife and I could buy a house.
There are Brits here in Vegas, but they are few and far between. When I lived in San Diego there were many as well as a few nice pubs too. I have always been interested in Florida and have heard the property prices are similar to Las Vegas. It seems the majority of Brits here live in Florida and I do miss being around my own kind, so what areas of Florida have the largest British community?

There are a lot in Orlando and surroundings, a lot in and around Tampa and a lot in Sarasota. Less in South Florida. Then others dotted around. Kissimmee has a really big expat population many of them working in the holiday industry.

We have a place near Orlando...we live in MA most of the time...can't say I'd move to be near Brits...I never knew so many lived in FL until we got a place there..we picked Orlando to be near American friends....but we have made a few close Brit friends now...it is nice to have coffee and a chat something Americans never seem to have the time to do...
