Hi All,

I am new to this forum & would like to give u my input on our E2 visa in the hopes it will help.
We have been in Florida 4 years now on an E2 visa & did not have to go through all the hassle that is going on today thank god.
Firstly we never used an attorney to get our visa we used an excellent business guy that got our visa through in 8 weeks & our renewal in 14 days so u dont always have to use an attorney & he was cheaper.
Firstly we bought a franchise which is a bonus for an E2 as most have in house training. The visa was put into my wifes name so that i could get an EAD card. I then got a job have been sponsored by that company have got my Lab Cert & the second stage, The company’s sponsorship for the green card but .......we are now stuck in the backlog for another 2 year wait. The good thing is our children have been grandfathered into the system so when they turn 21 year they cannot be thrown out of the USA.
Also if you do not have to travel back to the UK for any reason i would suggest you do your E2 renewal here as you can do premium processing for 1,000.00 dollars 15 day answer which you cannot do at the London Embassy.

It is great that the company are sponsering you for a green card and so glad your children will be protected by CSPA. Unfortunatley I am having to go to court as the VO (Visa office) say my son has aged out although many immigration attornies say they are wrong.
