Along the lines of Kirtida's warning about drinking water from overheating plastic bottles in a vehicle, it reminded me to warn you all of the feature installed in passenger vehicles manufactured after 2005.
It was installed to prevent theft when the automatic steering lock had been interfered with.
Basically what the feature is, and it's good to know this just in case it ever happens to you, is that the vehicle will shudder to a halt if it makes more than 5 consecutive right turns.
So be careful out there, especially if you're taking directions from your wife in the passenger seat. We all know how that one turns out. Before you know it you could have made 4 turns, be back where you started and she might ask you to make another. Don't fall for it. The vehicles equipped with this sensor will come to a complete stop and will have to be reset by the manufacturer.
It was on CNN and Fox Witness News had a special update on it earlier warning drivers. I saw one of the car owners and his wife arguing and she was hitting him over the head with a map book, as the reporter was on camera. Unbelievable.
