Hi

Well as you will see I am already, on the ball and starting to write to various senators

It may be a good idea to have a standard letter to e-mail all senators etc., outlining just a few of the issues we would like resolved.

Any ideas or volenteers??? please post sample letters on this thread

Here is a copy of my e-mail

Dear Terry and Mr Weldon

Just thought I would send you an update

As yet we have never received a formal letter of denial (only e-mail) for Gavin explaining HOW or Why they have reached the opinion that Gavin has aged out

I have requested this information from London , but they have not answered my e-mail. All London say is we need to apply for F2B visa

In order to do this we shall have to complete an I 130, As Texas is working on cases received in 1996, it will be at least 10 years before they even look at Gavin's case. This is simply dreadful the way my family has been treated. As you know Gavin has been patiently waiting to join the rest of his family for over 4 years. To wait another 10+ years is not acceptable

As a result a group of immigrants have set up an immigration self help forum . We do not/will not give legal advise but intend (once membership increases) to become a voice that will be listened to and heard.

The site has only just gone live and already have 18+ families that have immigration problems or issues. It is hoped that many expats (from whatever country they come from) join us

I have already been contacted by the press and meeting with them shortly as they are very interested in our cause.

Well done,

Keep up the good work!

I have some friends wanting to move to the US and will pass on details of this site

It is nice to see that good news travel fast for a change and the site is growing nicely

If you need any help just

I have had problems in getting my soc sec number and cannot work. This has been on going for months.

My passport is stamped with a five year visa, why can't I just show that to an employer?

So I do have some spare time at the moment

Hi Sharon

Thanks for the offer of help, I need as much help as possible

I agree, I cannot see why you have to apply for work autho. As you say the fact you have a visa stamped in your passport should be all the proof needed for anyone to get a job

This is one issue that keeps cropping up and hope to address
