Hi has anyone else sent for I94 renewal to Vermont this year? If so have you heard anything back??? We sent ours in May and check status everyday, they are now apparently processing August the 8th (so where is ours) we cant find out at all, neither can our attorney. If you have put a renewal in and not paid the premium processing and got an answer or request for further info, could you please let me know your dates... We are getting a little anxious and wonder if ours has gone missing.. We have our receipt number but it just never changes from the time it arrived.. If you telephone they just say the same as the web site we will let you know.. The dates they show that they are now processing are approx 90 days after ours...

Thankyou Kind regards Lorraine

Lorraine,
We mailed in our I-94 renewals mid August and just got the official receipt.
However the weird thing is that the notice of action - receipt letters came from the California Service in Laguna Niguel. I looks to me like they have overflow problems at Vermont and are shipping stuff to California to help out, though they make no mention of this on the USCIS site and the form instructions specifically state mail to Vermont. I remember Zoe saying they'd ealt with California for their I-94 and thought at the time it sounded weird, but that explains it.
Once again, I think it illustrates the total mess things are in.

Hi Lorraine

Inn vic may know so you may wish to send her a pm

Did you receive a notice of action with a receipt number? If you did and you are past 30 days priorty date you can call the 1-800 number for case status enquiry

Hi Lorraine

I have a friend who did a change of status, however did leave it till late, but went Prem Processing, that was back in very late July, very early August, and receiving a reply within 2 weeks, pretty sure it was Vermont who did it.

Hi yes if you do premium processing they have to answer you within 15 days.. we didnt do that this time as when we originally went for our L1 last year we paid the 1000 dollars to premium process and they contacted us on the 15th day asking for more stuff, so we felt it was a bit of a con...We could pay the 1000 now and they would answer us in 15 days but we have waited now since may and I feel it would be a waste of money if they just say oh we need further evidence... We should really have had a reply by now as on the Vermont site it says they are now processing August 8th applications and our receipt is dated arriving with them in May... WHO KNOWS

Hello lorraine

The 1-800 is pretty useless or at least the admin staff who answer the calls.

All they can do is give the same information that appears on the web site or on line case status enquiry section

The trick is,

To get through to an immigration officer. Press the button that says something like, if you beleive your case is lost or problem. When you get through just act worrried saying you think your case is lost and ask to speak with immigration officer

When you get through to IO play worried sick, you feel there is a problem, asj her to do referral

He/she can send e-mail about your case. You will still have to wait for reply but at least should hear something in about 4 weeks

Good luck, let us know how you get on expecially if you call again

Hey we have a member in Vermont - VicInn. How about we give you a list and you pop down, bang on the front door, ask to see the Manager and sort it all for us!!!!

Hi Guys

We actually plan to go to the office in the next few weeks (business permitting - we're coming up to Fall so its going crazy) as we need to find out about our own I-94 extention. I'd be happy to ask if I can get any more info on other applications. I can't promise anything but you can contact me via our website (info on B2B)

Hey InnVic,
I was only pulling your leg! Its a pity we don't do have to go to interviews at the Service Center, you'd do a roaring trade.

If you persist on the phone they will put you through to someone who will put a 30 day tracker on it. When ours disappeared like yours it had gone for additional processing which I dont believe is a very good sign,

Hi Lorraine,

Additional review means that they are looking at you case very closely and being reviewed by a supervisor.

You may well receive a letter asking for further information or they could just decide to approve or deny

But there is a small chance the case has got lost or gone astray. I think you could ring the VSC and suggest you feel your case is lost or their may be a problem, that way they should put you through to an immigration officer who could maybe chase the status for you
