What to tell staff who want a day off !!!!!!

My staff have been late everyday this week, I have heard every excuse in the book........... today on leaving I said I dont want to hear tomorrow, that
1. Some old granny was in wheel chair infront of you and you couldnt overtake.
2. someone got shot and you were held up
3. School bus broke down and you couldnt get round it
4. Pit bull escaped and you had to find it before it attacked someone
5. Girlfriend had hospital appt that I forgot about and it was for early hours of the morning
6. You said 9, not 8 !!!!

I tell you they have every excuse in the book........... I am going to quote your little story to them all tomorrow.......
