I sent my petition off last Friday for Premium Processing for L-1 renewal and received confirmation that they received the package on Monday evening.
Received the approval notice in my E-mail today. So things seem to be speeding up at Vermont.
It's a giant weight off our shoulders, and we can now get on with our lives, for a while.
I'd like to thank Susie for starting this site and for everyone who has posted anything that has been useful to me in compiling my case petition. I've learned a lot, and will continue to do so.
Keep posting what you know. It's infectious, and will certainly help others who come after you to gain legal status here.
First bottle of Moet is about to be cracked open, and a few more are being put in to chill as we speak. I'll enjoy this celebration!
Good luck everyone!
Regards,
Bobby
PS. Sorry Peter you'll have to put up with me for a while longer!! lol ;)

Congratulations - good to hear my fellow vermonters have finally got their finger out (must have heard I was going to pop in - I bet theyr'e scared!)
Its just a shame that they can't process everyone that quickly - not just those who pay for premium processing.

Was that your first renewal or what? How many staff? It is the first I have heard come back without even a request for further information for a while. And why Vermont? Have Texas transferred everything there?
Hi Bobby
Great, congratulations, makes refreshing news

As soon as my hangover wears off! ...and I come back down to Earth.
Reading about, and knowing so many people who have been turned down or are still waiting an eternity, it was quite remarkable that they turned it around in only 4 days.
My friend was approved a few weeks before me. That's why I thought premium processing was the way to go. They seem to have their finger on the pulse. It's a different address that it goes to at Vermont. Houghton St, it went to, and not to Lower Weldon.
Perhaps it made a difference, perhaps not?? But approval in under 4 days! Worth every penny of the $1000 premium processing fee.

Hi Bobby
Congratulations!
Now you got to come back over to the UK to get it in your passport like I have. Appointments are taking 3 weeks at the London Embassy as I have just booked mine.

Thanks Andy!
Yes it's a bizarre set of circumstances that you have to return. I'm not in any rush, but let us know how you get on.
Cheers,
Bobby

Stupid question - can you get E2 revalidation done premium processing at Vermont? Or does it have to go to London? If approved at VT would London be awkward when you go for Visa stamp (i.e. any chance they would deny you there?)

Yes you can but they can only give you an E2 status and an extended 1-94not a visa for that you need to submit to London and they look at it again and can deny you in London, Innvic. Without a visa you are stuck in the country even if something bad happens at home, like happened to Lorraine. Wheher they would be more iffy in London because you have first filed in the US, I dont know. I have heard they ignore USCIS's findings and look at it from scratch.

Hi Julie
I tend to agree, a friend of mines cases was submitted in TSC but London said the file was not submitted in the correct order so had to re-file from scratch.
There seems to be a love hate relationship between TSC and the American embassy in London

Hallelujah to that !
In fact I don't there is any love involved at all. London seems to regard anyone who tries to take a 'short cut' through Texas as fair cop for the delaying game. :)
