I had been under the impression that you couldn't apply for renewal until you had less than 60 days left on your visa. Upon investigation I can find no official source for this. So I whizzed an e-mail off to London E2 office and they told me (cut and pasted direct from e-mail) "we suggest you do this before the registration expires and hopefully it will be processed and successful in time for your next return to the UK for your visa to be issued. "

So....what do you think - is it too soon - I only have 18 month of sales figures (better than business plan) But the thought of renewal is driving me crazy - I want to get ity out of the way - and if successful a trip to UK would be convenient in May 2007 (after that no hope till Nov 2007)

Hi Inn Vic

Are you doing the renewal yourself?

If it were me I would start getting information together and submit as soon as ready.

I would also do another business plan to cover the next 5 years growth with an explation letter saying you are submitting now as per attached copy e-mail

Thing is whenever you submit your application processing time could take 26 weeks to who knows when and you will be in limbo like Lorraine

Do you have to file for travel document?

Maybe others know for sure?

Yup - we're doing it ourselves - have not been too impressed with own VA or those of other we know on E2 - the new guidelines seem fairly idiot proof (I hope!) and we are fairly savvy so thing we will give it ago. We don't have to file for travel documents so even if it gets sent back we'll be okay - I'm in no hurry to go back to old Blighty! Visa doesn't excpire till march 17th 2007 so thats probably about 24 weeks anyway - and we know to extend the I-94.
Good idea about attaching e-mail to application:-)
