Hi Everyone,
as was noted in the minutes from the meeting last wednesday at Sue's house, my mum and I are going to look into developing a social side to the Expat group, if we can raise money and awareness along the way for our cause then FAB!
Before we get to thinking where best to all get drunk :p
I need to know who is in Florida and able to attend any social events, also, a little idea of what gets your juices flowing (metaphorically speaking of course)
will help loads.
Thanks
Em x

Swingers night at one of the local British pubs, would be a good idea to help everyone get to know each other.

Hi Em
I am not sure but there were 50 + people at the very first expats voice meeting.
Some came as couples others came on their own. You could maybe look at the members avatar or profile and send an invitation by pm.
There are a lot of lurkers as with other forum sites but maybe they would be interested in a get together

Hi Wendy
Bonfire night, yes like it, jacket potatoes, hot dogs, burgers, salad. Nice dessert, hmmmmm
Lets not get carried away, we need Em to choose and go with it
I know you can get some pretty n-f fireworks in Publix but does anyone know where we can buy some decent rockets and fireworks?
Wonder what would happen if we burn't Bush instead of a guy or the Flag?
Might just get some publicity, just so long as we do not get arrested for treason !

Dick Emery.
Funny funny show. ....and of course after saying the above to someone, his character whacked them with her handbag and normally into a pond.
Thanks for reminding me Sue. Brought a smile to my otherwise sad face. ....... Waking up, ...........birds are chirping, the lake is like glass and the sun's shining through the trees magnificently. It's a sad, sad day in Central Florida! ;)

Its not the firework time of the year in the US at the mo, so i doubt you will find many in ordinary stores, but someone had a party in Celebration last year and I know they did manage to find some somewhere.
