View Full Version : Susie.... a coincidence?
Wasn't sure where to post this but here goes.......it's for Susie really.....
I had a rare few minutes to spare at work today and was looking at the notice board. I saw a 'Thank You' card to the doctors and nurses for taking care of Ian, from Sue (it did have a surname on, but won't post it here). I work on the Med/Surg floor at Celebration Health........was it from you Susie?

Hi
Yes I did send some flowers
I truely admire all the doctors and nurses. It really takes a very special person to be able to care of so many seriously ill patients
Celebration hospital was just like a 5 star hotel. All rooms had en-suite, computer with built in camera
Two weeks before Ian was taken into hospital he went to The Heart of Florida. He was given all sorts of tests including blood and xrays. They told him he only had a mild tummy bug, go home, rest and drink plenty of water
I swear I will never go to that hospital ever again. They even had the cheek to send a bill for almost $4000.00. I phone to make a complaint but they never got back to me

Hi
Celebration were wonderful when my daughter broke her arm. We were in and back at home within 3 hours.
The last time I went to the accident and emergency room in the Uk I was still waiting after 8 hours

Hi Tina
I received a sympathy letter today from Normalee a nurse on the 2nd floor of Celebration hospital. Do you know her?
The letter was so sweet saying my husband was a sweet true gentleman
She sent me a gift voucher for the family to have a meal on her at the Olive Garden
What a truely nice thing to do for a patients family, I am humbled
Hi Tina
I received a sympathy letter today from Normalee a nurse on the 2nd floor of Celebration hospital. Do you know her?
Yes Susie, I know her very well, she's a lovely person, the type of nurse I'd want taking care of me or mine if I was sick. She's been a great support to me in my first few months working there. Not sure if you can remember which nurse she is, so here's a little reminder......she's very short in stature, talks with a kind of "sing-song" voice (didn't know how else to describe it :p ) and of West-Indies origin, works the night shift 7pm-7am. Do I have your permission to tell her we are connected?

Hi
Yes it is her and please let her know I am hanging on in there and pass my thanks for her sweet gift.
By all means tell her about this site, maybe you can put a notice on the board? If you can I will e-mail you a flyer that can be laminated or post you one
There must be loads of notice boards in the Hospital and would be a good way to promote our site
