Break in's on Sandy Ridge

Hi All,
Just wondering how often break in's are publised?
Someone on another forum said there were at least three homes (presumably vacation homes) on Sandy Ridge community,Davenport, which had been broken into.
The thieves had kicked the doors in, turned off the alarms (obviously knew the codes) and proceeded to rip the safes off the walls, taking passports and cash.
The holiday makers had just arrived, so you can imagine how much cash was taken! I hope it didn't upset their vacation too much!

That happened last night on Tuscan Ridge too. Break ins do get published but only every so often in a local paper, I think you can access that information on the sheriffs site -

Tuscan Ridge isnt gates (as far as I remember) and neither is Sandy Ridge. This is not only terrible for the poor buggers staying there - but worse as it definately would seem like someone with inside knowledge.

Thats the first one I've heard of on the Ridge does someone know which side...a lot of empty homes on the Countryside...
There was a few break ins a few communities down from us last week...again after money just after guests get in....

wonder if more vacation homes get broken into than residential ones, suspect the answer is yes but never the less has anyone heard of a residence broken into recently

They go after residential cars...my neighbours car got hit earlier this week...the first real crime we have had on our part of the ridge because there are always so many people coming and going....
He did not know about the break in...he is talking to the HOA...and the cops...they do come around a few times a night anyway...looking for people watering their gardens...

I know its kind of sad...but cops pay is low....and if they can get the odd extra buck giving out tickets for watering on the wrong day who am I to say they should be out fighting real crime........:rofl:

They drive around 4 times a night...
