View Full Version : Love bugs
Hi
The love bugs are here in Florida in their millons just like illegals. The car is covered, the pool is covered and so am I
They visit us twice a year Sept and March and heard they were bred to eat the mosquitos not sure if that is true or false

They manage to get into the villas, God knows how. Then they drop dead. Need to check all empty ones or they may look like a scene from the Mummy when the next guests arrive, Its a pain and doubles our work, I heard they are at it for seven hours and then they drop dead. What a way to go though!

I hate opening the door to our place when its been empty a few months...we've only had a few bugs in it...mostly dead...but I still think its going to be full of nasty things....

Hi
I agree these little pests are a real pain
The get everywhere, I am sure it snowed love bugs today.
You can never be sure what is lurking round the corner. Opened the front door last night to walk the dog and a frog leapt out of nowhere. Not sure who was more frightened me or the dog !
Hi
Not bothered about the love bugs
Its just the snakes that scare the hell out of me !

Hi Kris
Well looking at your picture you look very young. Bet your nowhere near as old as Charlie Chaplin
Darn Creepy crawly's
I went to check out a home once and lifted up the toilet seat. The inside of the lid was wet like condensation.
Could not make out why until I looked in the pan only to see a great big fat frog crawling up the side.
Slammed the lid shut, flushed the toilet three times but it still came back. Tried to get the pool net down the pan but it was too big. I had no choice but to call hubby and ask him to come and sort it.
