How are you finding Dubai and why did you pick Dubai, Carol??

Thank you, I will fill you all in on Dubai when I get a bit more settled, but from what I have seen so far it is great, the shops are great the schools are great, and the pay is great, and I have no hassle with visa !!! but I will fill you all in when I have been here a little longer, as I have only been here two weeks!!
As for why Dubai, I didn't want to go back to UK, and the money is good here
So we will see

Good luck in your new life, I know someone who has lived there for 20years now and loves it.
We visited 2 years ago and it is really nice place, very cosmopolitan. There is a also a very big British contigent there.
