Hello E visa holders

There has been quite a lot of talk about how many employees you need to employ

If the more the better. Do you or would you employ 6 people at fair wage or 12 people on min wage ?

Does this make a difference?

Clearly I don't know the answer since I posed the question. But I assume (hope) that they would pay attention to your type of business. Some businesses simply dont have the need for min wage type labour whereas for others it's perfect. You would think they would expect you to employ what is most sensible for your business...

Given that in our circumstances we only have a few very well paid employees with full health benefits, good vacation, maternity & paternity (!!) leave I'm hoping that they're just as happy with quality as quantity - will let you know whether I'm right or not when we finally get seen!!

I dont know either,
The American that i bought my business from had a total yearly staff payment of 10k. This was classed as low by my visa attorney, he said we should be looking at a bit higher than that in total!!!
I have 2 part timers both on only $7 per hour and 2 managers on more, we dont provide benefits but they do get paid hols and a store discount!
There really is only grey areas surrounding this, My VA and others I have spoken to say you just need to employ them within the realms of the business But need to show that are not just 'using' them for the E2 visa pass.

Hi

Again, this is another example of who knows what is best.

The visa attorney may think more employes, the USCIS may think you should pay proper manigerial salaries, you want fewer people but hard workers so pay more yet the Embassy, well who knows what makes them happy
