Hi Guys,
Story of our life - still nothing going right ha ha!!! In February of this year we purchased a 46" Sony Bravia LCD TV little knowing that we would be returning to England in September. The TV cost nearly $2,000, recommended price $2,400. We contacted Sony as we wanted to know if it could be converted over here to PAL - they said it could but, lo and behold, it can't!!! Therefore is there anybody over here shipping their stuff over and wanting a new TV, I think it also has a 3 year extended Warranty. Or, anybody over there wanting one and willing for it to be sent over - I could probably find out approximate shipping cost. All sensible offers considered.

Thanks for that my bestest friend - you haven't seen me for a few months, ha ha!!!
Would just like to thank everyone for their advice re the TV - we are actively looking into it and hopefully we will be able to use it - awaiting replies from sellers on E-Bay. I am not too impressed with Sony's after sales service tbh -they have been less than helpful but, hey, sign of the times really.
I would also like to say a belated thank you to everybody who replied on the thread re the dilemma my son and d.i.l. found themselves in re rent to buy. My d.i.l. could not believe just how many people replied to offer help and advice; needless to say they didn't take the people up on their offer as they were taken aback when she requested credit checks so it's back to the drawing board but thank you all from our family.
Love Anniexxx
