I find this interesting...I got polio 18 years ago from a friend child who had nearly drowned in the sea near a water outlet pipe...the lady who told me I had it was a Doctor who had lived through polio outbreaks in the 50s...
my legs were like thin sticks...and the pain was unbearable..

When I saw my doc a few weeks later...he told me we don't have polio in the UK anymore...and took it off my notes...
Well I had tests in the USA after telling my doctor here about it...we have a post polio clinic nearby...and wow...yes I had had polio.....and have to watch out for its return...
People must remember to wash their hands really well after changing a baby who has just had it polio jabs...you can catch Polio from a dirty nappy at that time...and a few man in the UK die from it each year...
They really don't want it to be known in the UK that polio can still be a problem...unlike in the USA where you will find more post polio clinics...if you are having a baby and it is having a live jab...have one too....you really don't want that kind of pain...

Vaccine Derived Polio Virus...is what I was told I had...

Susie a baby thats just had its polio jab,

People must remember to wash their hands really well after changing a baby who has just had it polio jabs...you can catch Polio from a dirty nappy at that time...and a few man in the UK die from it each year...
