I'm new to this site but I hope someone who knows the ins and outs of Korean immigration policy, particularly with E2 visas, can help me.
I have a recent E-2 visa stamped in my passport as of December 9/2007. My visa and my contract was canceled before I could enter the country. The situation was that I could not make it on time for orientation and training with my Ministry of Education and, needless to say, they canceled me.
Now, I still want to teach in South Korea and I know I need to apply for a new visa. Now the question is will there be a lot of red tape involved in me getting a new E-2 visa with another M.O.E or hakwon? Do I need to wait until the last possible entry date stamped in my visa to apply for another one?
I hope someone can answer this question for me...Much thanks to person or persons that do...
