Thanks to all for the nice comments, to clarify Peter and byjove, we have been pursuing the American dream now for the past two years and some of you will be aware of the problems we had with a certain "immigration consultant" (DJ) which used up about six months of that.

Since then we have been back and forth, investigating various businesses and possibilities and have had to make a choice. We would still like to live permanently in Florida but at the moment just have to concentrate on making a living and business here in the UK. Don't want to waste another six months looking for a qualify-able business and a seller who will wait for E2.

We will still be over for Holidays, I think!!, and one day hope to be back when (or if) a lot of the immigration problems ease.

Fully understand.
In this market maybe consider an annual rental as it is hard to sell anything right now.
