Snow!

we moved from Ottawa May 2007- so far it has had 355CM of snow!! And this storm is coming this weekend!!!

Its been OK here for the last few days...just a lot of rain...really glad it was not snow...or we would of been snowed in...

Its been raining so hard here we could not take baby back home to Boston...everywhere is flooding...and the rain is coming down so hard you can't see more than a few ft...

Last time I saw snow I was in......Daytona Beach. It was ocean effect and salty.

Interesting to watch all the natural born Floridians freak out and run around wearing duvets though.

Yep, second that here in the u.k - have heard that severe weather heading this way tonight (I don't think we're in Kansas anymore toto!!!)- fabulous!

Thanks, obviously thats what friends are for!! Will let you know the outcome, just found out that the East Coast (where we are) could be badly hit. Will have to make sure my ashtray is brought in from the balcony ha ha!!

Spoke to London today and they are on alert for some really bad weather. Keep safe everyone.

The rain was so horrendous last night the pool overflowed onto the decking. Sandbags are hard to get in the middle of a storm! Anyone know if home Depot sell them , so I am better prepared for next time?

Well guys, as far as we were concerned not as bad as we were told it was going to be, sea was a bit choppy - stood on my balcony watching it and it looked pretty angry but really nothing compared to what they were telling us, although in other areas I think things were bad. They are now saying that it is not going away anytime soon. Really this year we haven't had bad weather at all, we have had so many walks along the beach and it has been really pleasant if I am honest - although I do love being indoors with winds and bad weather going on outside, it is soooo cozy!!!! We have even sat outside our "local" last week watching the sea and having a nice glass of vino - bliss, ha ha!!!
