how to meet people...help!!

Hi i'm hope someone out there my help me!We moved here 4 months ago (fl)we have our green cards and my husband has stayed back in the uk while we sale our business and I start up here.Life here is not easy and with a 17 yrs who has completly got her life sorted school and work but i'm the taxi service and so getting out and meeting people is a really problem espeacially when you are a woman on her own (while hubby is away) people view you rather odd shall we say,so please anyone out there near to where we live here in kissimmee i'd love to here from you !thanks:welcome:

I am so glad you found expatsvoice, we are a very friendly group so if you have any questions just ask away

We have monthly committee meetings as Ron says and the next one is on Wed 15th Nov at 7-30pm in the Davenport area and yourself and daughter are more than welcome to attend

Wendy's daughter Naiomi (Floridarulz) is setting up a young adults group and will be at our meeting

We also have a social side to expatsvoice and Em is having a firework party on 4th Nov all welcome
