Reservation Reward ????

Hi,I have just been checking some of our bank statements and noticed that $10 has been taken out each month for the last 3 months by this Reservation Company ????
I have manage to contact them (via our bank)and they have told me that they will refund my money but it was my Husband who set it up !!!!
My Husband did not !!!
I dont know where they got our details from as we are careful to shred old receipts etc.
Just thought I would ask if anyone else has had this happen to them???

This is a good scam

The same thing happened to my husband. From memory he was sent a free mag and then every month they started charging for it on his credit card. For months he had to do a call back on his credit card and eventually it did stop but just think about it. They take your money and hold it , probaley in an interest account and if you moan refund it, but if they do this to thousands of people they are just earning money by doing nothing

Did you aks them how they got your details ? Did you report this as fraud to your bank? and if so what did they say?

I did ask them how they got the details and they told me that my Husband have given them his card details.
He was at the side of me at the time and he said he didnt why would we want Attraction tickets ?????
This Guy could not give me a straight answer and he quickly said that he would refund the money.
I did contact the bank as they actually gave me this Company's tel.number and they did say that they had other people querying this.
So be warned,check your statements.

:( :( :( In the last two months we have had

1. Shoped in a well known store they asked me if I wanted a rewards card and I would get free copy of a magazine also. Signed up for the rewards card and said I dont want the magazine, told its ok its free. Check the bank statements the magazine company has taken 2 years subscription out. Rang the shop, told them exactly what I thought of them and said it is a scam misleading etc , phoned the magazine, and bank and got money back.

2. Signed up for FREE trial of a site on the internet it even said this is Free no risk trial etc etc .. after trial period didnt want to sign up, they sent an email and I said no not interested!! Check my bank statemnets they taken 39.95 monthly fee.......call bank to say I not authorised, send e mails to the company..............:(

3. This was the worst one.......signed our son up to a club 1 year ago. He hasnt really been interested so we said as soon as the year up we could cancel as it was $200 a month. Called to tell them didnt want to renew. Told you cant cancel unless you move 25 miles away from one of these clubs or you have medical reason why. They said we signed for 3 years!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO way did we sign for three years, I explain, we were told one year and that the guy we signed with even after we had signed asked us about a month later if we wanted to sign for three years and he would give us a discount.

After major arguments they said they were not interested.

I phone the club again asked the manager he said nope not interested!!!

I called on the Monday at about 3pm and asked him what time he started to take the lessons that day, he said about 4. I informed him that my husband was on his way down with a well known News station to discuss our problem with him. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm amazing he called me back 3 mins later and said it had all been cancelled and I should have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!

We had the reservation rewards debits. only then it was $6 a month a few years back. They work along the lines of it being a small amount so either you wont notice or you wont care enouggh to go through the agro of stopping it. Had to get the bank imvolved in the end, it was no end of a hassle. Neither of us had any idea of how they got our account number.
BTW at first my bank said the easiest way to stop them was to shut my account down and open another!!! Err......
