Hi

Just to let you know that last night someone smashed into the back of my car.

I was stationery at the time and have witness to say it was the other guys fault and he got ticket

I'm ok but hurt all down left side very painful and hurt leg badly. It is not broken but seems maybe a torn ligament. Was taken to hospital in an ambulance, what an experience that was !They took xrays and have to follow up with orthopedic in a couple of weeks

All hell broke loose at the Chevron, Firebrigade, police, ambulance and was taken in ambulane to hospital.

I have had to give at least 4 recorded statements to do with my injuries. The medical bill situation is not clear, but will get back to you

I will stop by the site daily for a short while but for the next few days at least will not post as much., please bear with me

Please all make sure you do have proper medical and car insurance, I know how sometimes we can forget renewals
Wendy and David Sorry I could not see you last night and will contact you when a bit better

Hi Sue,

Hope you're feeling better this evening.

Just a quick question to cheer you up. Were you in the front seat or the back?

.....and following on from that, here's my "Essex girl" joke for the day:

Essex girl is laying in bed with her boyfriend and turns to him and says,

"how dare you call me a slapper" ......... "go on," she says, "get the hell out of my bed,"

..........."and you can take your bloody mates with ya"

;)

Hope you're up and about soon. The site needs you!

All the best,

Bobby

Hey guys

Thanks for the pm's and postings

Did not sleep last night so a bit cream crackered. Can now get around without the crutches today but more aches and pains, doctor said I would feel worse before I felt better, good job I am getting by without crutches because I am very unsteady with them

Hi Susie,
Sorry to hear about your accident. By any chance, did this happen at Ronald Reagan Blvd? Do you have a dark coloured car and were you hit by a small(ish) pick-up truck?

Y'all didn't know I'm psychic did ya? :D No, seriously....my hubby came home from work on Tuesday evening and told me about a wreck he'd just seen happen. He was driving in the opposite direction of the accident and told me all the details when he got home, then when I saw Susie's post I thought "wonder if that was Susie he saw getting hit?" Spooky
Give Susie my best will you Em? :)

Hi Tina,

Yes it was me !

If your hubby did see what happened can you pm your contact details as the police will need to know

Just called the body shop and the other party have not even reported the accident to them yet. Not sure if this beaks any laws or not

My ins co., Progressive have alread been to see my car and taken pictiures

I asked what they thought the repair costs would be and how long to repair. Well the cost , so far is in ecess of $21,000.00 and mounting and it will take aprrox 5 weeks to repair. It is a brand new super V 8 Jaguar so he must have been travelling so fast and was a heck of a lot more than just a fender bender

Still feeling cr-p, but pain killers help a lot, just cannot sleep too well as every time I turn over on my left side it wakes me up! Still thank goodness I will bounce back, just a matter of time

Thanks again for all your best wishes, least I am not Billy no mates
