Okay people, just want to get rid of my lovely home which is killing me but no chance of coming back over to live - my realtor is not having much luck so just thinking if anybody back in England (or elsewhere) wants a home that they can just put their worldly goods in without having to decorate (until they wanted to) no holes in the walls, no unsightly different colours where the emulsion has been patched up etc etc - then perhaps this home might be for you!! We have dropped the price to $195,000, we have looked on our Realtors Web site and homes with less square footage than ours on our development and others are going for more, so feel it is a good price.
It is in a quiet wooded development, on a quarter of an acre. Our lanai area is really large with an indoor/outdoor carpet so you can sit out even on rainy days and is an extension of the home. In fact I never spent much time inside!!! On looking at other developments I think it is a really nice place to live, with access to different ends of the 192 - even though when we first moved there we thought we were going to be isolated but it isn't the case.
If anybody is interested, please pm me and I can tell you the Web site of our Realtor so you can see both inside and out. We had our carpets cleaned before we left (even though they were quite new), just recently had our pool screen and deck jet washed (although with all the rain out there recently it might not look like it at the moment) ha ha.
Just a thought for those of you thinking of moving over there - would even consider renting if anybody is interested. A donation would also be given to ExpatsVoice for kindly allowing me to advertise my property.
