E2 visa through Toronto?

Hi there does anyone on here know what the story is behind the lengthy timescales now experienced at Toronto US Consualte? It was 6-8 weeks and is now turning into more like 6 months!!

Personally I think it is to do with anybody English!!!!! Sorry to be defeatist, but that's how it gets you in the end.

seems like any applicant is being sent anywhere jsut so long as it is not in the usa, wonder where the usa serive centres send their application to

I have a very good friend who is Canadian here on an E-2. Whilst having gone through a pretty painless renewal once, on her second renewal she is being asked for extra information (even though it was already provided with her initial paperwork) and she too has had to extend status as the renewal didn't come through in time - sound familiar.

Seems like it is not just us Brits who are being asked to jump through hoops!

Wow- sounds familiar!! MAybe you should get her to join the group for E2 pressure group and action required by all members!! Every one who takes part helps.
