Please see the way the British are being treated that want to come to your country LEGALLY and create jobs for Americans- its disgusting. Also, I would like to thank you for your post on another thread which put my feet back on the ground. Very difficult to remain positive when all we seem to read is bad news but you are absolutely correct in what you are saying that the ones that get through have no need or time for a forum of this kind. BUT wouldn't it be absolutely fantastic to hear from them and get some good news for a change?

Annie - to cut and paste. Highlight the text , then press CTRL KEY and C together, and then click on the link I gave to you, the go to the comments box and hit CTRL V, (assuiming you have a windows PC and not an apple). Hope this helps..

Just trying to look at it from outside the box (forum), as we're all in the same boat, we can all too easily get caught up in a blinkered way of thinking.
I do get a bit of negative press every now and then, but that's because I tell it how it is, and I'm not one to just follow the merry bunch :D

What about Fox, ABC and the local Florida/Orlando radio/Tv stations. If we take a shot gun approach, we must hit something!!!
Florida has a pretty large Brit community. Put things into DOLLARS and the Americans suddenly listen. If you look at the value of the Brit (BUSINESS). community to Florida, somebody should sit up and listen.

Ok I have done mine too. I am working on a letter to Mel Martinez, decided it is time to come out fighting. Emmalee, I fully understand your reasons and Chris too. We have been mulling things over, but feel we have invested too much to give up. Don't forget why we call came here in the first place, we had a dream. Anything good is worth waiting for. the weather is cold, we all are feeling a bit down, but when the sun somes back, look up and think positive. There must be folks here it worked out ok for. can we try and track them down and find out any tips?

Hope you are both doing okay. You are right, there are people out there who have come up trumps, the only problem being they are on E-2's and yes, they are okay at the moment but who knows what will happen in a year or two's time. That's why we have got to fight to change things.

I will be getting in contact with a friend of mine who has had a lot of problems but, hopefully, things are looking up for her. She also knows a lot of people who have been agreed and living here quite happily for a few years, so will lobby her to lobby them to give us their stories and views.

It was good to meet you last week; totally jealous of where you live though!! Hope to meet up again soon.
